Tereos
Tereos began with the creation of a cooperative distillery by a group of farmers at Origny, in the Aisne department of Northern France.
The factory processed 400 tonnes of sugar beet per day. 90 years later, with over 19,800 employees worldwide, the Group has become the world’s second-largest sugar producer, harnessing the full potential of agricultural raw materials in over 13 countries. Exerting control over the value chain from the upstream agricultural phase, Tereos guarantees food producers a secure supply and complete traceability at each stage of manufacturing its products.
