Actilight Fibre is an oligofructose concentrate (also called fructo-oligosaccharides, or FOS), which is a prebiotic fibre that conforms to the regulatory definition of dietary fibre. Tereos produce the oligofructose in Actilight from sugar beet using a bioconversion process inspired by nature. The fibre is obtained from sugar extracted from sugar beet.

  • Actilight is mainly composed of short chain fructo-oligosaccharides also called scFOS. Several fiber contents are available (85 and 95%). It is a soluble dietary fibre with a slightly sweet taste and prebiotic properties as demonstrated in the scientific literature by many in vitro

  • are soluble in water; they will bind
