Biochemica® Coffee Butter is produced by blending hydrogenated vegetable oils with Prunus Amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil and Coffea arabica (coffee) seed oil, obtained via a specific cold pressing process of roasted coffee beans (seeds).
Coffee oil contains a high content of polyunsaturated linoleic acid, well as saturated palmitic acid. The butter’s composition offers a higher oxidation stability than coffee oil itself, as well as an exceptionally smooth and elegant feel on the skin.
It exhibits excellent spreadability, making it ideal as a massage butter or carrier for unique skin treatment products, and also has strong antioxidant activity because of its ravenous free radical scavenger’s content.
