ACRYSOL ASE-60ER Rheology Modifier is an acid-containing, cross-linked acrylic emulsion copolymer designed to enhance the viscosity and performance of latex coatings. Upon dilution with water and neutralisation with a base, the emulsion particles swell significantly, becoming highly viscous and clarifying, which imparts highly shear-thinning characteristics to paints. This makes it an excellent choice for moderately textured paints with a high yield value or gel structure, reducing roller spatter and improving handling.
