Univar Solutions gains ISCC PLUS certification for two EMEA sites and collaborates with DOW to offer their Advanced Recycling products to customers.
Today, with a stated ambition to help customers and suppliers make the move to a circular economy, Univar Solutions has announced the successful ISCC certifications of two EMEA sites in the Netherlands & Belgium.
Across many industries, stakeholders in the value chain are looking for solutions to achieve their sustainability goals and provide eco-conscious customers with solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future for all.
As part of its global ESG goals, Univar Solutions has committed to delivering sustainable solutions across the markets it serves. Today's announcement is another clear example of that commitment in action, with Univar helping to deliver sustainable solutions across the value chain to its valued suppliers and customers. In doing so, Univar Solutions is able to support and accelerate the move to a circular economy.
Following their successful certification, Univar Solutions now begins the next stage of its sustainability journey by collaborating with leading companies in the chemical sector, such as Dow.
Dow have recently announced their sustainable propylene glycol portfolio which features Ecolibrium TM, Renuva TM and Decarbia TM technologies. Through verifiable bookkeeping as part of their ISCC PLUS certification and without changing their production process, it is possible for Dow to trace and attribute the flow of sustainable materials through complex value chains.
