Sulphuric Acid is the worlds most commonly used industrial chemical. It is a highly corrosive mineral acid to both metals and tissue with extensive industrial applications. Sulphuric Acid is most commonly used in the production of phosphate fertilisers and other chemicals in water treatment, petroleum refining and iron and steel production. This concentration contains 35% sulphuric acid and 65% water. At this concentration sulphuric acid is transparent to yellow in colour and odourless, yet heavy and viscous.
