Sodium L(+)-Lactate 60% is a high-purity, food-grade sodium salt of L(+)-lactic acid, obtained by neutralising the naturally-occurring acid with a high-purity sodium source. This colourless to yellowish aqueous solution offers a mild salty taste and is widely used in the food industry for its excellent preservative properties, high water holding capacity, and buffering capabilities. Sodium L(+)-Lactate is a safe, non-toxic, and biodegradable ingredient.
