XIAMETER PMX-200 silicone fluid is ideal for use as an active ingredient in a variety of applications. It is easy to apply and has excellent water repellence and compatibility. PMX-200 is also soluble in many solvents, making it ideal for use in personal care applications. XIAMETER PMX-200 is odourless, tasteless and nontoxic. It has high dielectric strength and high dampening action. It can be used as an active ingredient in cosmetic, automotive, furniture, metal and speciality polishes in paste, emulsion and solvent-based polishes, providing lubrication, softness and silky feel with no odour in a variety of applications from cosmetics to industrial.

How to use
XIAMETER PMX-200 Silicone Fluid is highly soluble in organic solvents such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, and the halocarbon propellants used in aerosols. The fluid is easily emulsified in water with standard emulsifiers and normal emulsification techniques. XIAMETER PMX-200 Silicone Fluid is insoluble in water and many organic products. Additive quantities as small as 0.1% may suffice where XIAMETER PMX-200 Silicone Fluid is to be used as a surface agent or for de-soaping creams and lotions. However, 1–10% is needed for applications such as hand creams and lotions to form a more uniform film and effective barrier.
