Flocculants: Essential intermediate in the production of dimethylaminoethyl (meth) acrylate used in water-soluble polymers for effective water treatment. Pulp and paper chemicals: Improves dry and wet strength of paper when added to kraft paper. Ion exchange resins: Reacts with chloromethylated vinyl or styrene resins to produce high-capacity anion exchange resins and membranes. Polyurethane: Cost-effective ingredient for producing PU foam, enhancing insulation properties. Resins: Effective curing agent for epoxy resins, and improves acid-dyeing properties of acrylonitrile polymers; also enhances water-resistance in coatings and films. Textiles and leather: Enhances dyeing capabilities of polyacrylonitrile and improves gas-fading resistance of textiles. Paints, coatings, and inks: Neutralizes acidity in water-soluble resins, improves pigment wettability and adhesion of latex coatings, and aids in solubilizing resins in flexographic inks. |
