XIAMETER™ PMX-1503

XIAMETER™ PMX-1503 Fluid is made up of a blend of an ultra-high viscosity dimethiconol in a low viscosity dimethicone fluid for use in skin care, sun care, and color cosmetic applications. Its film forming properties are both non-occlusive with wash-off resistance allowing it to impart a long lasting silky, lubricous feeling on the skin, ensuring the skin remains hydrated, protected, and exquisitely smooth throughout the day. XIAMETER™ PMX-1503 Fluid does not contain ingredients of animal origin, nor has this product been tested on animals by or on behalf of Dow Chemical making it suitable for vegans. 

This product is neither tested nor represented as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical uses. Not intended for human injection or food use. When preparing an emulsion containing XIAMETER PMX-1503 Fluid, it is recommended to use a high stirring speed and to pass the emulsion through a homogenizer.The Recommended dosage is between 2% to 50%.

Dimethicone is a type of silicone oil, chemically known as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). This linear, silicone-based polymer's viscosity is determined by the length of its polymer chain; shorter chains yield a more fluid substance, while longer chains result in a thick, gel-like consistency. Dimethiconol is a silicone polymer with a slightly different structure, featuring hydroxyl (-OH) groups at the ends of its chains.
