WALOCEL™ MW 6000 PFV
A hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC) with a delayed solubility. This product was developed as a rheology modifier/thickener for several ready to use construction applications. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
Typical applications include tape joint compounds, caulks, texturing, etc. It has a surface treatment that offers delayed dissolution. It will impart balanced performance, including workability, open time, crack resistance, and bond strength.

WALOCEL™ M 20-30
A modified hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC). This product was developed for cement-based applications, like cement-based tile adhesives and essential additives for the successful formulation of the cement. It also imparts good workability and enhances water retention. The selected particle size distribution helps to achieve quick or lump free dissolution.

This product is designed for cement-based applications such as repair mortars, cement-based tile adhesives and cement-based reinforcing and bonding mortars for exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS). Compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders, the product adds excellent open time, slip resistance, adhesion, shear strength according to different storage conditions and good impact resistance. It also enhances workability and water retention. Dow’s WALOCEL™ cellulose ether products are manufactured using cellulose from wood or cotton linter, resulting in an inherently bio-based additive with approximately over 78% bio-based carbon content.
