Monoethanolamine is a colourless organic chemical compound in the form of a viscous liquid. Its primary use is for feedstock in the production of detergents, emulsifiers, polishes, pharmaceuticals, corrosion inhibitors and chemical intermediates. However, it is highly versatile with both alcohol and amine characteristics and can be used in detergent, personal care, textile finishing, wood treating products and can even be used as a cement grinding aid.
