Potassium L(+)-Lactate 60% is a high-purity, food-grade preservative that acts as a potassium salt of L(+)-lactic acid. It is naturally derived through the neutralisation of L(+)-lactic acid with a high-purity potassium source. This colourless to yellowish, nearly odourless aqueous solution is known for its high water-holding capacity, buffering properties, and ability to act as a safe preservative, making it an excellent alternative to sodium lactate.
