CARBOWAX Polyethylene Glycol 400E is a clear hygroscopic liquid that provides enhanced solvency, lubricity, hygroscopicity in a wide range of formulations. It is totally soluble in water and most organic solvents (with the exception of aliphatic hydrocarbons). As CARBOWAX PEG 400E contains two terminal hydroxyl groups it can be used in polyurethane and esterification reactions.
